i always water on the ground and put the tray back up there. I never thought about the reflection being enough light. So you think the extra light is a waste?

That's good but I still say a t5 fixture was 1 not ment to be a shelf.
And 2 not a smart idea.

If we're gonna help eachother lets do it in a safe manner. Atleast.
Fine for yes or not the stand behind it as a dumb idea.

zipper question. i want to build this the right way. i see a bunch of tarp zippers to make a door with. all i see are 6.5 feet or 7 feet long, i need one that is 5 feet.any ideas?
maybe i could cut it at the end spot and put a stop someplace so i dont go beyond the cut?

Cut it. I use them on my 6 mil spring greenhouse, but the ones I get are like 10 feet long.

How are you attaching the Panda film to the PVC frame?

On a messed up tent I had. We had similar issue. Crazy glue or Jb weld works great to keep the end closed n prevents the zipper to go behond.

Very good question cubby

Ordered the zipper, get that in 2 days. Still thinking on how to attach panda to pvc frame.many options. Looking for best one. Thinking that Scott tough tape made for poly.

I would try double sided tape to attach the Panda to the frame. The velcro sounds good, but positioning all those lengths would be a pain. With the double sided tape you could easily remove the panda for storage or transport.....and it's cheap.

This one will not have to be moved. I have enough to build 2 tents. The second one will have to be able to be took down

i find it easier to bring the ladies to the light, then lower the light. especially when you are growing different strains. some can be bigger then the others.

i elected to not cut the zipper. left the backing on the top, just letting it lay on top of the tent. and i attached the panda film to the pvc with 3m tough duct tape for poly. im going to start another build on another tent for my smaller t5 fixture, i will do a DIY thread on that one. they a super easy to build and cheap. some new members my find it useful info

Have you came up with a method to hang the lights from the top middle vs top putter top rails. ???
I'd put a T n brace that wall n just lay a 2x2-2x3" on the otter top n screw eye hooks into it.
Uve done a great job man. Thumbs up.
