.

Thank the green ghods... Now I can go on a killing spree! Lol

Think I'll start by dismembering #4 so IC has her own "place in the sun".
Maybe #3 will live a little longer... Seems a waste to let all that bondage gear (LST) go unused.

I really really needed this to happen, I was on my last link of chain trying to keep the VEG T5 fixture above the leafs.

Thank you all for getting me this far, I have the utmost confidence WE will finish this Bag-seed Learning Grow with flying colors!

ONE plant seems to fill this space PLENTY... even if I had twice the space I think that would be true

i would agree with the space thing..more is then quickly filled to then want more and so on and so on..
looks like you are on your way to "kill it" in that spot so green mojo for that and happy growing..

I didn't have the room to LST more than 1 :(

got to let this one play out (and learn) as-is but I'm keeping #3, the LST, for a few more weeks to see how that plays out too.

considering how well #1 has spread-out and filled the space, I don't think I NEED to LST unless height becomes an issue.

I think I'm going to duplicate this pattern with IC except I will wait longer to do the first top. Given my space, a 4" + longer stem will work out better.

edit

lol

more space = more plants = NEED more space = more

well of course :P

IMO 10,000 sqft will keep me occupied... but only time will answer that one ;)

still trying to maintain calm

since it's now only a 100w lamp, I lowered it to 12" and centered the working array over the plant

this just HAD to happen on a Friday night; checking E-mail but (still) no response from HydroGrow, I guess I'm not expecting one till Monday.

I sure hope they "work with me" on this... its not like I can pack it up and wait 2+ weeks for a replacement.

I thought you were just showing that you could turn one side off. That is to bad if your light is broken.

yes and no

yes I can solder a 50k ohm resister to a video card or motherboard PCB

-but-

no, I shouldn't have to this is a 3 month old, $500 fixture it SHOULD work

its warrantee better cover replacing it !!!

if worst comes to worst, yes I will open it up and F with it but not if that's going to kill the warrantee

freaking little "warrantee void if removed" stickers

Ya, for $500 I would try the warranty too, maybe you can get them to send a replacement part.

OK, it was <500 but not by too much

-------------

so here is a cringe-worthy shot:

LED + CFL =

I'm just throwing every watt I possibly can @ her till I can get this LED back to 100%
(200w 2700K CFL)

only raised flower temps 2F (I lost 2F when I lost the 2nd array) = 74F
and raised VEG side the same (+2F) = 80F
not too bad and still in acceptable temp ranges

notes:
S: 870 - 5.6 (4 days)
E: 710 - 5.5

Day 15

so many bud sights (18 circled)

and these are just the ones on the top / 1 layer down, there are 3+ layers to this canopy

Do I leave them all or try to focus the energy into fewer?

isn't it 1 cola per stem?

no, there is no bulb to replace

heck, I cant even open it up to look inside because of the warranty (void if removed) stickers

looks a little burnt don't it?

trust me if this thing weren't only 3 months old I'd be in there poking around but .... 3 months??

not to mention it is the MAIN light in my flower box, 50% or not

I can only hope they stand by their product and do the right thing

-but-

I cant change/effect that

-and-

I CAN effect these bud sights ; )

opinion(s)??

EDIT:
lol I have
10 T5 bulbs,
1 200w dual spectrum CFL
1 200w 2700K CFL
1 200w 6500K CFL
wasn't planning on the LED to burn out first

Hey bud. With that Sea of Green going i would work on thinning out the bottom branches and leave the top untouched. This will allow the plant to concentrate its growth in the main bud sites. The stuff underneath wont get as much light and wont be as productive.

Is that a COB light ( chips on board )? It is a bunch of led's stuck together to form a single led .
