I.C. 2 , the blind White Siberian

HERE is the thread that describes I.C.2's history.

And HERE is the thread documenting the original I.C.


This will be my first time taking a clone to flower.

these cuts were taken the first week of November.

The new light seems to overpower my flash WAY more than the Sol's did... IDK, just an observation.






EXPLOSIVE stem development!






I'm planning on rooting a cut from this plant to replace the original "mother" I.C.
(pop a Chucky's Bride and push it into flower after rooting a C'sB clone/mother... yes MORE space I NEED MORE!!!)

that's the cycle! I understand now.
Take a cut from mom. root "daughter"... at flower, take a cut from daughter that will become the new mom.
I will flower every other "generation"

once she goes through this last gallon of VEG nute-mix I whipped up yesterday, it's time to fLiP


this thing STINKS!! (in a great way)
are either white widow or AK-47 "known" to be a very stinky strain?

If you cloned her last week that clone or one of a few maybe can root and grow pretty healthy in next 60 days of flower. Then if I read correct there is no need to skip a generation ..
I clone and flower in this way and it seems to work great to not have to keep a mom...

very true but with room for only 1 plant in flower I would then be "stuck" with just one strain
this way I can have a few to choose from.


Unfortunately the BORG are back!!
I really don't understand how but it doesn't matter, they ARE!

I will be killing both moms within the next day or so. I can take a cutting from IC2 to keep the line going but I don't have a healthy Crit-Kush cutting to keep that line alive...
Not sure if its worth trying to take a cut.
I do like the thought of being able to harvest FAST, maybe not huge amounts but if I'm running out, 2-3 weeks makes a HUGE difference.
on the other hand, its very possible the BORG will hitch a ride on that one clone and... ya well, you understand


the full plan is to remove (kill) IC-mom tonight, cut Crit-Kush WAAAAY back (as in remove 80%) leaving a few possible clone cuts ...
bah, that wont work either
trying to come up with a way to NOT have sick plants in the VEG space when I start IC3 clone but the timing isn't playing out right

My PPM readings were off A LOT for close to a week (2 weeks ago)
was shooting for <650 could have been as high as 2000ppm
(the sensor was caught up in the roots, above the liquid line)

Been "flushing" her with <300ppm for almost a week now




I've GOT to get her into flower soon!
the roots are taking up 2+ gallons of space in my 5 gal tote. much more, and I wont have room for anything liquid.

MAJOR pruning tomorrow along with res change

this is just the "Before" post/pics



getting back into the nutes... 750 for now
(IF I recall I went as high as 1300 last time I grew this plant )


I sawed off the weakest also lowest to date, (4 lowest of plant already gone) branch and made these:



I'm being VERY careful with the H2o spraying!

This pic was taken right @ the start of my maintenance routine and was all but evaporated off by the time I closed-up the VEG side of the cabinet.
Winter heat = low R-Humidity


that's "Crit-Kush SS-LOL" back there
Looks like shes going to make it... but will the BORG too??!!
every other day, mist SNS till dripping... I assume eggs fell down so I rigged-up a DEEP tray and have been "bottom-watering" into the tray while the SNS drips down from top

wonder if a SUPER FAST FINISH plant is worth keeping?

+++the wife suggested each others Christmas gifts could be cash toward the "Bath[grow]room/CLOSET[look over here]" +++

I would let the CC go....not for the fast finish or the Borg.....just because at the end of the day its just not "all that"...

you really can use GH 3-part Bloom VS liquid KoolBloom to Ph your flower-mix nute bath [Kool=UP / Bloom=Down]

This is UN-topped. I went into this grow planning NOT to top... I hope I didn't overestimate my skillz.

She's 30" tall with 8-10" more space in the cabinet... I think it should be ok.

3 weeks from light fLiP (12/20/14)







clones are throwing roots (1.5") but everything above "ground" is all but totally yellow @ this point
not quitting, just saying ;)

IDK exactly what to think
beginning of 5th week
winter, lights off temps as low as 65F









main cola is about 7" (it wishes) above the main canopy

the one shot is LED flashlight only no flash

now that its posted it does NOT show the contrast between the fan leafs on the main cola and the main canopy as much as it does IRL (in real life)

this is the first grow with the 400w light and I kept the same 13" off the highest point of the plant spacing that I have done for the past 2 grows (300w)

It feels like I pushed it too far

I've already backed off to 16"


these are reflector LEDs not lens/magnifying-glass (ants?) style

yes, I try to drift back and forth between 5.5 and 6.0

most over on MP say it isn't a deficiency and I just have early purple leafs... enjoy! so...

go figure, what I'm growing is doing something EARLY... never had THAT happen before [rolleyes]
