A few pics of my OG Kush, 1 1/2 flower. It is the shortest plant in the tent, 25" tall. I have been feeding my plants dehumidifier water for the last couple of weeks, tds is almost 0. I noticed I had to give them calmag right away, I guess they are not getting any from the water.

The Purps bud sure is pretty. But I bet you were actually hoping for a purple bud.

Thank you Melvin, you would be right , but I also wanted it for the other characteristics , I will have to wait and see if my outdoor one shows some purple, darn cold here, lows around 32 highs 50. I think I will have to wait for your Buckeye Purple to arrive, Then we should see some purple.

Sorry Methman I should have been clearer, I used both of my 430w hps. Coverage is better with the led since I have it about 24" above my plants, I am trying it out in my 4x4 tent and it covers the area pretty good . One 430 would not come close to covering a 4x4 area.
Sarah seems to be very helpfull from the posts I read on 420. They will build lights with custom spectrums for extra money.
3w or 5w, from the test I saw on the reflector 3w compared to a Mars 5w, the 5w had higher readings, now if you add a lens to a 3w led it changes. I saw a video of a 3w light that uses lenses over their diodes yesterday and the par readings were quite a bit higher than the 5w, it is a more expensive light.
It is a tough choice, the more money you have, the harder it is to choose.

Normally I would clean the bottom up more but I want to see how well the lower buds develop. True about the fan , I will move it.
I had one of those fans and I liked it until the motor got hot and melted the housing. They have stopped stretching , one thing I have noticed is less stretch.

Tok some pics yesterday, some single shots.Plants are healthy , just had one problem with the OG Kush, I stoped giving CalMag and a day or two later I noticed top leaves had what looked like calcium def. so I am adding CalMag again. Otherwise plants are doing good. 4 1/2 weeks flower. Shortest plant OG, 33", tallest The Purps, 45".

I would lean towards taking more lower branches off to allow those tops to use that energy....seems like there is some more down there that could be taken .....just my two cents.....

Normally I would trim up the bottom more but I am kind of experimenting to see how those bottom buds will develop with this light, but you are right Surf.

My experience is the lowers never amount to more than a " friends and family" sack...meaning not show quality...also at the end of the day that takes away from the tops which is what this is all about if you like to smoke the flowers like I do...

But I will get off my soap box now before it crumbles out from under me....

That is ok man , there will be some popcorn buds I am sure , hash or oil pile. Most of those bottom branches only have the bud on the end left. Thanks for looking and the advice.
