Sorry about jumping the gun but I am still a nervous paranoid grower. I am thinking about going to flower in another week???????

One thing to remember about growing from seed is that you should wait for signs of sexual maturity (pre-flowers) before switching to 12/12. As you probably know, in the case of females, pre-flower signs are the hairs.
This is much different than growing from clones, because clones can be flowered early because they are technically as old as their mother.

Okay, here is a pic of my 2 girls, I thought I had a problem with my water so I posted here and MP under plant problems.
Like I said before I started them on 5/21 so I am ahead of the group ( I need to have them down and packed by Sept as I will be leaving )

not sure why ya need to wait???...lots of people grow 12/12 from seed with great results. I force flower at week 4...and are these femms?..
I have one now as the other one committed suicide...

Man, I don't know. You're probably right. I'm not a plant expert. I've just always read that plants grown from seed need to show sexual maturity before being asked to produce flowers. Kinda like people. Seems to make sense.
But that may be wrong for all I know. I do realize that there are good "12/12 from seed" strains, but I was under the impression that those strains were created by people, from the evolution of plants due to specific cross breading and selection of plants that exhibit the desired behaviors; over and over and over again. Until the overall result is achieved. ((Are these technically "auto-flowering plants"?))
Do you think all strains can be grown successfully as from "12/12 from seed"?
I have done 12/12 from seed....they still need to get "old enough" before they show but can show as soon as 4th week....now they are not considered auto strains but probably yield just as less. I think the ones that do run 12/12 from seed is because they want to save on electric bill...or space is small
just my thoughts ...all though clogged with
