Things have settled down here for the most part. I have water I went to the farm and filled my water barrels took a well pump put in barrel and hooked it to my house. I was delivering food and water to the elderly yesterday and had to show a young bunch of punks they are not the only ones that are crazy. 44 mags going off seems to get ppl attention. Everyone acting like not having water is the end of the earth. Make you wonder if society is worth being a part of.

Not really sticker shock. More of a matter of even finding what I am looking for. I'm not looking for an urban environment, but not 15 miles to the grocery store either. Its that in between that is hard, where I'm looking. Not being from Cali makes it a little difficult to know what neighborhoods will work for me. Realtor talked alot about the cartels, gang bangers, and poor water quality. Lots of haters...

OH dear. Where are you in Cali. There is a cute tiny town called corralitos that has lots of rural type places. It is an hour and a half south of SF...

We have had 30-50 mph wind for days and days and days... Low of 46 high of 50.... wind and dust. weirdness for January.
