Good Morning MC,
-21 real degrees with a "feels like" temp of -40 to -60.
I went out walking just to see what it's like, cold does not begin to describe it. It's so cold it makes your torso hurt from trying to turn in on itself to conserve heat.
I wish all of you could feel this, just for a few minuets, it's an incredible physical experience. I'm gonna' go out later....when it warms up a bit....
buuuut, for now.............. I'm having a huge mug of coffee, a little Snowcap (seems right) and cooking some breakfast. I'm hoping the extreme winter dosen't give way to an extreme summer, I don't like the heat.
@pcduck keep your tailfeathers in the nest brother, this is brutal.

this is my path
-7 degrees and still dropping. Sustained winds of 32 mph. Windchill unknown as it is below what my weather station can compute.
My 10" of snow is now all in my driveway making 3' to 4' drifts. Glad I got a Jeep, had to back up once to get a running start but after that she just kept hopping till she got to the house. Dogs went out for about 45 seconds and back in. Against the law to be on the roads unless you are an emergency personal or essential at your place of employment.
Sure am glad I am home.

Coldest night since 2011 last night, got to 16. Today's high was 32. Still too cold for this Dallasite.
Congrats on the new car rose.
Enjoy the break from the cold weather umbra.
Ducky, cubby- bundle up, then bundle up again.

The kids go back to school tomorrow, Xmas break is over. Finally! Unfortunately, I have an appt with my neurologist.
And decided on a couch/loveseat, throw pillows fabric. You've no idea how hard it was making a final decision.
