Canna Butter

I had some extra trim and I figured I'd make my in laws some butter or may just make something for them with the butter. Any ideas? I've made banana nut bread and crispy treats before.

This will be potent. 2 oz's per 1 lb / 4 sticks of butter.

Make Buckeye cookies. They're small, so they're low dose, makes it easy for people not use to medibles to control their dose. And, they taste just like Reese's cups.

Here's the recipe, I replace the shortening in the chocolate with canna butter.

The only tip is to make sure the butter is well softened, the dough itself will be stiff when mixed, but you don't want it dry, which happens if you try to use butter that is too cold.

I made my inlaws just the butter. They use it on jelly toast. Easy to control the dose

They look really good, just like the worthless nuts they're named for, lol.

I usually like to try them before I give them to anyone. My mother in law is coming over to get a bunch. So, I guess she will be the one to test them! :)

They were real heavy, so hard to eat two lol. In my opinion, 2 would be where to stop. One was a nice almost valium feel. They loved them and I actually let a friend try some and her and her husband liked them.

Cool. And they liked the actual cookie itself? My mother would always make them at Christmas for the cookie trays. She always acted like they were such a chore to make, which is why she only did them for the holiday. When I made them for the first time myself I called her up and told her that was a nasty trick to lie like that, lol. She said if we'd known how easy they were she'd have had to make them all the time, lol.

Sorry, I didn't think about that. When I make them, I always keep them in the freezer, we'll eat them frozen and they're awesome.
