Thunder sleet? Our weather has been ridiculous..

So yesterday and the day before we were enjoying sunny, 80 degree weather.

Today it's 20 degrees and roads are covered in ice. Just got a call that schools are closed tomorrow. :(.

Never heard of thunder sleet before until today. It was pretty wild.

Talk about one extreme to the next.

We ended up only getting 6", they were calling for 12"...so hopefully the snow goes light on the rest of you. The ice is rough on the wildlife too, a long winter for the animals.

to day in Loredo Tx it's 41, yesterday it was in the 80's, glad I'm heading home where it may be cold but at least the people are smarter than house plants.......this place sux.

Sorry @Weedhopper , I spent the morning with someone who told me he "wanted to move the republican party to the right". I asked "won't they fall off the edge of the Earth?" He didn't get it.................thick as a brick.
