I say run her out and keep a close eye open for possible nanners.

I LOVE mandala seeds and have grown out a few of theirs but not yet the Kristalica.

Funny, I just tried to go to mandala seeds.com, and got the following message:

I would never trash a plant this early on. There can be a lot of reasons that it looks a little funny now.

I am going to keep it and see what it does . I looked real close but I don't see any spot where the new shoots would grow out of but you never know.

Personally, I got no time or use for weak starts. They don't move along at the proper rate, I cull them out and start something new, but that's just me.

It looks to me like you had to help the seed cap off

It will stay for now as long as it keeps improving. How did you know Melvin, out of 4 seeds this one I had to help with the shell. Maybe it is my fault.

It will be fine. little baby seedling mojo!

I could tell by the shape of the leaves that you had to pop the seed shell, and that's what's making it look like that. When it falls off naturally you get the normal shape cotyledons, when you have to help the whole cap off, not just one hanging by its skin, they always look rectangular and skinny. You probably should have left it under the humidity dome/tenting an extra day and then just buried the seedling stretch from the extra time in the high rh.

I wouldn't actually label this one as a weak start because you probably already see tiny leaves growing between the skinny ones.

Ok Melvin, should I just leave them alone and let the seed cap fall off by itself, I might have to tie my hands behind my back because I have a hard time leaving them alone. I have had seedlines die because the cap would not come off by itself. How long should I wait before help them along.

I'm pretty sure that it did sustain the damage when you removed the cap. If you wet the seed hull with a drop of water a couple of times, it usually will soften up comes off itself or it comes off fairly easy with a toothpick or something similar. Did you start the seeds in the dirt or did you use the paper towel method?

This is a link to Mandala's germination guide, which I personally believe is very good.
