break in

so I noticed a few weird things lately and it all came together. my dogs got sick over the holidays. starting throwing up huge chunks of chicken and a dried chicken juice of both of their heads. kind of weird since I didn't give my dogs any chicken to eat. So I was in the kitchen, looking out the window and noticed the storm window broken in the corner. I looked closer and screw driver marks around the outside of the window. So i took 1/2 round steel rod and ran it into the window and installed an ir cc camera with a dvr on the window. Now we will see what happens. Don't forget my neighbors are LEO

Rose I would say no. I think that the dogs ate too much. Someone threw a couple of packs of chicken to distract the dogs. They could not have had much time. The window is 7 ft from the ground and the back yards are all open to the neighbors. Well so now I know, and will be prepared. I have read that from Thanksgiving until New Year's there an increase burglaries. But I wouldn't rule out cops trying to find something without a warrant.

They feed the dogs chicken here to keep them away from what they doing...Most Dogs (Unless trained) will go for the chicken...Ive all ways had cameras around my house..its a great thing to be able to go back and see stuff...I even have some those fake ones so the thiefs dont know what one is on...Stay safe Umbra...

This sucks so much!!! Years ago, someone tried to poison my dog (Doberman) with meat soaked in Anti-freeze. Thankfully he had been trained not to eat anything that didn't come from his food bowl or my hand. When he found it, he stood over it and barked. 3 other dog owners weren't so lucky (that's how I know it was anti-freeze). The dogs were being eliminated in preppration for burgleries. A girlfriend of one of the poisoners told the cops all about it.
They recieved 1 year each of non-supervised probation.
Still pisses me off!!!

Rule number 1 ..applies here too yes?...I baught the 8 camera system from cosco..can add upto another 8 if needed...I think it was on sale 450

When I trained him not to eat strange food it wasn't fear of burgulars, but rather stuff he might encounter on regular walks. But it certainly paid off.
