Well my goodness, this PZ is a great smoke. I haven't cured it yet, but it is dry and in my solo. The taste is unbelievable... I don't know what it is... but the finish is like a citrus zest....clean. This stuff tastes great. It is a very up and nice high, my favorite, up. I left the other one to go longer, I hope it is still up and this is very fun.

What a great plant to grow. I will be growing more, and changing it up from this grow...needs bigger pots and more ferts... and more fimming. Thank you Benny! My compliments to the breeder.... lovely smoke.

Thanks Rose and 4u. I am happy they turned out so well. Sounds like the C99 influence is strong in this cross and the finishing speed is great. I plan on putting my best phenos OD in May to see what I can do with them. Sometimes we get lucky. Good genetics always help a lot when making new crosses, too. Definitely keeping my Drizella stud around. He has done a wonderful job in the crosses I have seen from him. Very sativa leaves on him should help with an up high, as opposed to couchlock. He flowers constantly, doesn't care how many hours of light he gets.

I will plant this again... Just thrilled with it Benny... LOVE IT!!!! And I think I am way picky about my sativa highs... this is my girl. THG needs to grow this. She will really like it too. I didn't take very good care of these girls. They came at a busy time I guess so if they are this good with neglect think of the possibilities.

always heard that was an undesirable trait.. but reviews are sure contradicting that, eh
mine has outgrown her veg space and is now starting bloom.. and i must admit, i'm quite eager to see what she holds, hearing such glowing reviews

Stong hashy smell, a small fuel hint....gets ya ripped

Going to really be a strong reecking even after a longer cure.

Can't wait to see what is does OD...Already a decent yielder indoors.

Definitely a nighttime hitter, gets me extremely tired. Tried during the day and wanted to take naps.

So Benny, it has been cured a week, lol and smells and tastes like wine. Really, wine. I really love this plant.. I will be either reveging one or starting more seeds. THG needs some of these seeds...She would love this strain. THANK YOU!

Awesome news, Rosebud. The first parent in the cross that comes to mind is Querkle. The Black Dahlia is Black Cherry Soda and Querkle. Funny how those things work. I hope others get some different smells and tastes from the cross. I can donate a pack to THG. Let me check the vault.

Benny that maybe the flavor I am experiencing. Smoked it yesterday with a group. Nobody could place the smell and taste. Besides it smelled dank and they have smelled it before. Taste and smell changes quite bit when curing.

Ok, so I tasted the PZ that went two weeks longer then my first early pz. Put me to sleep. Doesn't smell like wine, smells like pot. So, i will grow this again and clone this time and take them early for a great up morning high. Thank you Benny.... I am very happy with this plant and especially when taken at 7 weeks. The 9 week is nice too, but i gotta love a high energy high.

i have a C99 like that rose. i take it at 7.. even if it looks like it could go more. i let it go over 8, and it was not near as enjoyable.
odd. (makes me wonder if i/we're missing out on a few winners that we take to full maturity that might've been better earlier)

here's my pinkzella. 9 days in.
i'm noticing some strange leaf occurrences that i'm not sure why, or what to do about.
sort of pale white dots.. almost look like a bug problem, but i've not seen anything.
keeping an eye on it.

Had two surprises last night. I had chopped two plants that finished flowering and was rotating two more into flower. First was a Pinkzella @ 24". Staked her up, marked the tag with date of flip and grabbed the second PZ girl. Then I saw it, male flowers!!! WTF? I missed the sexing clearly. He did have a nice, strong smell with a stem rub and huge boy flowers. No time for any more boys, so he got culled.
Second surprise was grabbing the jar with my earlier germination run PZ that I chopped a while ago. Fired up a J at 11 and WHOA! this is some strong smoke, for sure. Better than the mother. I hope the rest of you get so lucky. Pinkzella with a cure rocks! Like Pink Mama as far as strength and body relaxing. Maybe even stronger. I am going to have to run one of these OD for pain meds.

Howdy Rose, mine changed the smell after a cure. When I first opened the jar last night, I had to check the label a second time. It smelled like widow. Initially it had more of a berry/ grape/ wine smell but that went away. I am glad. I don't like the dry red wine smell much. Usually has a dry mouth thing going along with it. I am happy with this one.

Update on my 7 girls. Out of ten beans, only 6,7 and 9 were males. Pretty good odds. I topped most of them. Still not sure if that was a good idea. Some look happy, others are pretty sparse. I am not completely over my root aphid issues. Still losing fan leaves, but these will all finish. They are all about 42 days in now. Pretty pleased with the results. Very little stretch. The smells are complex. Some tickle your nose with a peppery, then fruity sweet plus a little widowy dieselness to them. Others are just sweet. My camera got all sticky. They are all frosty. A few are PM sensitive and I had to spray. Looking forward to the next run with the better phenos. #4 has reddish fans, larger buds and more smell. #5 is good, too. 4 pics of each one, except 3 for #3 1,2,3,4,5,8,10 Enjoy. More bud shots in 2 weeks or so. Whenever chop day is.
