A little update from day 38.

First up we have PJs Boysenberry cut (aka Goji OG F3) Structure in no way supports the massive buds of awesome-ness this gal puts on. She's worth the pita it is keeping her from falling over. This gal was leaning against a wall, when I moved her today she flopped right over the ground, and it's only day 38. Got her all tied up now.



Next is a Gorilla Grape F3. Original pack of seed was from Outlaw. This is the first time I've had the deep purple expression in these seeds. Her great-grandman and the Buckeye Purple great-grandma are the same, so it makes sense that at some point I'd find this dark color. The other girls I've run from this seed have all had pretty shades of frosty pinks and purples, but not this intense color. Buds are nicely dense for day 38 and smelling kind of like an earthy grape/fruit.



And finally, one of the Jaffa Cake phenos from Immortal Flowers. This is the "middle of the road" pheno. Buds are acceptably dense for day 38, but could be denser. She's sensitive like the Vortex, but already painting on the resin. I almost always get orange of various degrees in this BX, but this gal is for sure more of a tangerine.

I have a goji and she dont look like that...... Very nice mel....

Timbrrline, PJ found this cut in a test pack from Bodhi a couple years back now. It's pretty darn special, and has been renamed to Boysenberry. I believe that Bodhi may even be doing some work with it, but I don't remember for sure. PJ has made some nice F1 Goji crosses using a male to the old Jack Herer girl, Williams Wonder, Albert Walker, and a couple of others that I've seen grown out on other sites, all of them looked great.

I am betting its more about the gardeners ability mel. I am not there yet.

Some porn from Day 45. Both these gals were out to have their fans pruned off so the next 10 days the light will pound on the lowers.

This is one of 2 Vortex x Deep Bubba Kush from immortal flowers. And I am in love with her. Totally a Deep Chunk leaner, she has cloudy creeping in already and will harvest easily at day 55. Nice strong indica structure. Buds are like concrete, super duper dense.

The best thing though is that she's all orange peel. A super strong orange. I've been looking for an orange pheno that actually weighs for a long time now, and she is it. If she smokes, I'll be holding on to her for a while.

I totally over fed her, but I have 3 clones waiting in the wings and I know now to back her way off.

The Jaffa Cake looks bitchin......

Timrrline I have 3 more Jaffa Cake phenos in the room right now from seed. I love her, but I have to always hunt her. Either she weighs well and is a regular citrus/lemon/tangerine kind of thing, or she is straight up orange zest with loose airy buds.

All the phenos just paint the resin. I'll make butter with the orange phenos and you'll taste the orange in it, it's totally awesome.

Speaking of Jaffa Cake, pheno A had to come out of the room and get put into bondage today. It's day 47.

She has a nice, strong orange/tangerine smell and the buds are nicely firm, and way too heavy for her to support.

Little update from day 51

First up is the other pheno from the Vortex x Deep Bubba Kush pheno #E. Don't let those big buds fool you, although they're nicely firm for a plant that still has, at least, 2 weeks to run, she has those large sativa calyxs. She'll lose quite a bit from that in the dry process.

I'm not totally unhappy with her. She has a really nice tangerine smell going on, resin is coating nicely. Structure is good, good enough to hold those buds up until today before needing support. I'm going to give a clone a run, but she won't be a keeper like her orange sister with the rock hard buds that are done at day 55.



This is one of 2 of my Dead North starts in the space. This is pheno #E. Bud are hard, but she sure does smell weird. She has the skunky, funk, meaty smell of the Deadhead mom mixing with the rotting fruit of the NL5, it's hard to describe. Pretty darn sticky, she's looking at another couple of weeks to finish.

Went to Sac to have another ct scan done and super bummer news, got the call from the hep c doc at 6pm wednesday night. cancer, spread on my liver, spread to my adrenal glands, spread to my lung. , cancer. Waiting to hear about chemo, its non operable. just a spot on my lung and another one on my adrenal gland, so far, but the liver is not doing well. Hopefully, the 16th i get my bloodwork done and this treatment im on is kicking this hep c's ass, otherwise i am going to be in big trouble soon. Love ya melvan, keep up the awesome porn, super awesome breeding (the frosted buckeye's are growing out nicely now, all recovered from flowering and looking great), I'll be staying locked in as long as i can, and I'm working on starting a complete dosing regimen from eating raw cannabis, juicing, and rso, and quitting smoking it thru any other way but a vape. at least im working on that part, budget sucks to try and get a volcano, lol!!

There are lower cost, knock off versions of the Volcano. One that comes to mind is the Phantom. In the end, the knock offs give you the same vapor in a bag, they're just made of aluminium instead of stainless, and their blowers aren't as powerful so it take longer to fill the bags. They usually run around $250 or so, still not cheap.

Portable vapes may be a good way for you to go, something powered by butane like an Iolite maybe? You'd be able to take that with you and do a few hits in the car right before any chemo treatments too.

You know there's nothing but positive vibes coming at you from this direction. Keep that great positive attitude.

Day 57.

Melvanetics 89 NL5 F3. Monster rocks for buds. She's keeping all the density NL5 should have, but tripling the size of the average NL5 nugget. She's not a fruity garbage funk either, she's heavy garlic with a touch of mint. Not digging all those big bud leaves, but I'll deal with them for those monster rocks.



Pheno C of the Jaffa Cake. She's one of those that smells like tangelo, this one leaning more to the tangerine. Buds are acceptably dense, but I think in the clone run I can get them a bit harder with some product. She's got a nice fade going on.



Gorilla Grape F3. She's self supporting those nice big buds. Loving her color, density is more than acceptable. Nicely sticky. Her odor is pretty low. A musky lemon right now, but very mild, can't see it intensifying much in the time she has left. Nice stealth pheno.
