My cabinet just doesn't have the air volume or flow to passively cool this.
I had to add a "desk/personal" AC (squirrel-cage) fan to the mix, doesn't change volume or flow but helps transfer the heat off the sink.

Pushing >300w (air cooled) is going to be difficult.

Running 200w for VEG.

I think he was saying that the price was the amount of 2 1200w mars II shipped to new Zealand. which is about $1400. There is a promo code to save $100.

What is sun ?
Or a 1k bulb do?

Seems like that lamp could do much more than the tent...

The meter read XXXX Lux while it was being held XXXX away from the light.

I believe nice clear direct sunlight is around 80,000 - 100,000 Lux
(the meter is on x100 so 750 = 75,000)

Yes, this light is said to have a usable 5' x 5' footprint but that's with the 60 degree reflector and 3'-4' off canopy.

i just dug out my mars 1200... after 1 veg cycle and 2 flowing grows. bought it April of 15..
8 led's were very dark when unpluged... fired it up, and those 8 led's are burnt out, and about another 5 are very dim...
i sent a email 2 days ago to them about it. (has 2 year warr)..
but have heard nothing at all from them.....

UPDATE....
received a email back from the Mars company 7 days after i sent my email to them...
they asked for 2 pics... one with the light out, and one with it plugged in.
they asked if i knew how to solder. and since im a auto tech. i told them yes.
i sent pics last night, and already gotten a reply this morning, that they forwarded the pics to there service dept. for review.
they will be sending tracking info once they decide what leds i need i guess.
they did indeed offer i could send it somewhere for the repair....
my 3 small Mars led's have been going strong for 2 years now, no issues at all with the smaller ones...
and in hindsight, i should have bought 4 or 5 more smaller ones then the 1200... (was told the smaller ones, would have given more coverage... but i am only lighting up a 4 x 4 room.
anyway, i will update this thread as things happen..
