24/7 vs 18/6

The plant in the middle has been in with a couple clones at 18/6 hours a day, the 2 others are 24/7, A huge difference in developement,,, I potted them on april 7th, they appear very happy and healthy. This is my first photo upload on this site, I hope it works out. Hmmm no pictures, first try bummer!!! I attached file ???

Yes, I actually asked this question before I started growing. Ozzy gave me a good answer and I wouldn't tell anyone to go 18/6. Short answer, MJ doesn't need a dark period until flower, so why short them 6 hours a day of developement? Thats 42 hours a week.

I also believe that 24/7 the plant matures sooner. Before I Ran 18/6...Sex would show around week 7.....lights on 24/7...Im seeing Male/female around 4-5 weeks...Just my thaughts

Myself I've always grown 18/6, I feel the plants are happier with a little rest each day, they don't seem to stress as easily, especially growing from seed, less stress, less males,less hermiies etc. Good Mojo your way, thanks for replying.

I too run 24 /7 consistently get 60/40 split female/male ratio with no hermies.... just one of a host of techniques I've learned from all you all.... thanks for looking out
